SCYP in Croydon and Sutton

February 29th, 2012 in Featured by 0 Comments

Surrey Clubs for Young People was founded in 1947, years before the boundary changes happened in Surrey, and because of this we have a strong presence in the South London Boroughs of Croydon, Sutton, Merton, Kingston & Richmond.

We have recently expanded our project work in Croydon and have been working with around 13 clubs across the borough to deliver a variety of sessions. Some of these clubs are opening their doors for the first time in a long while, and we have had a great response as a result. Click here to read a Croydon Guardian article about the reopening of White Horse youth club; just one of the clubs supported by SCYP.

In Sutton we’ve just begun work with the CVS and Shanklin Housing Association to launch a youth night at the community centre on the Shanklin Estate. Anyone who is interested in volunteering or sending a young person along should call us on 01306 898006.

For information regarding the projects and sessions available, please direct yourself to our programme section at the top of this page. Alternatively call our office on the number above, or send an email to
