Demo Pod – Arts Award (Silver)

Activity description

Through the Silver Arts Award, participants will develop arts skills and understanding, lead activities in the art format of their choice, and achieve a Level 2 qualification. Like all Arts Awards, the Silver Award is flexible enough to fit into existing studies or other commitments, but in-depth enough for participants to achieve a meaningful qualification.

Through participation in the arts activities facilitated by the Demo Pod and with the guidance of the Demo Pod’s qualified Arts Award Adviser participants will complete 2 units:

- Arts Practice – a challenge you set yourself within your chosen art form, plus an exploration of arts events and arts opportunities within the community.
- Arts Leadership – planning and delivering an arts project, taking responsibility for a specific aspect and communicating effectively.

Participants must evidence their development by building a portfolio of ideas, activities and achievements. This can be done in any style and format such as a slideshow presentation, diary style or any other appropriate style.
