Demo Pod – Arts Award (Bronze)

Activity description

If you’re ready to try new experiences in the arts and media, doing a Bronze Arts Award is perfect for you – and you can achieve a Level 1 national qualification. It’s all about seeing, trying, and doing new things in whatever part of the arts world inspires you.

Through participation in the arts activities facilitated by the Demo Pod and with the guidance of the Demo Pod’s qualified Arts Award Adviser participants will:

- take part in arts activities such as music production using industry standard software, snapshot animation, short film production and much more
- receive guidance and advice on accessible arts events and reflect on the experience of being part of an audience
- find an arts hero or heroine, research their story, and discover how they got to where they are today
- share skills by helping to run a workshop or by giving a demonstration to others

Participants must evidence their development by building a portfolio of ideas, activities and achievements. This can be done in any style and format such as a sketch book, video diary or website.
